William Higbie
William is an award-winning documentarian, event producer, and digital media strategist based in NYC.
He builds things on the internet that make people care, and then figures out how to turn that care into action.
William graduated from the USC film school, where he focused on understanding what equitable and inclusive storytelling looks like through film and American political history. His passion for politics, the climate crisis, and criminal justice reform is at the core of his work today.
He is focusing his career at the intersection of social media, culture, and public systems, focused on how ideas spread, who they reach, and what people actually do with them.
In 2024, he served as an Advance Crowd Lead for the Harris-Walz national campaign, where he spent over 90 days on the road, orchestrating 40 events across 16 cities and welcoming over 100,000 attendees to meet the Vice President.
Additionally, William worked on multiple rallies, live-streaming, and event advance for the Zohran Mamdani campaign for Mayor of New York City.
Today, William produces social media content for the New York City Council, translating legislative work, policy announcements, and Council initiatives for digital audiences in a clear and creative way.
