About the short film: This short film explores the trauma and hardships that cause eco-paralysis, grief and anxiety in young activists through the eyes of a couple, Melody and Teo. From unprecedented fires to the biggest environmental injustice that is neighborhood oil drilling, I hope we can come close to realize that under this existential crisis, we can’t let our different traumas and identities separate us. To save the places and people we love, we need to cultivate our garden, our shared humanity. Compassion and unity is the only sustainable approach to this unsustainable world.
